What we assess

Mental health

A thorough look at your mood, anxiety, trauma and other concerns, using a clinical interview and standardised questionnaires. You’ll come away with a clear picture of what’s going on, whether a diagnosis fits, and practical recommendations for next steps.

Cognitive and IQ

Standardised testing of reasoning, memory, processing speed and learning, to understand strengths and challenges for study, work or diagnosis.

NDIS functional

Assessments of day-to-day functioning, with reports written to support NDIS access, plan reviews and the supports you need.

Autism

A respectful, neurodiversity-affirming assessment of social communication, sensory experiences and patterns of behaviour. For young people, this includes input from parents and school; for adults, how you may have adapted or masked over time.

ADHD

A diagnostic assessment looking at attention, focus and impulsivity across your life, using interviews, questionnaires and, with your permission, input from someone who knows you well.

Common questions

No. A GP referral can be helpful, especially if you’d like your results shared with your doctor.

It depends on the assessment. Most ADHD, autism and cognitive assessments are privately funded. Get in touch and I’ll explain what applies to you.

Functional assessments can often be funded through your NDIS plan. Check with your plan manager or support coordinator.

It depends on the assessment and how many sessions it involves. I’ll give you an idea of timing at the start, and we’ll book your feedback session once your report is ready.
